DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD PLAY FOR RICKY HEATH! He does not take your kids well being and physical limits into account and will use your kids arm up to build his own success. He cares nothing about the kids he coaches. His only goal is to create success for himself to give his son a better chance at school ball. TRUST ME.

Happens way too often in travel ball… I have a son on his team now. He overpitched him over and over again to gain success. Now my sons arm constantly hurts and he doesn’t even like pitching anymore.

I am a college baseball player just like many that have played with him in the past. This guys has the best interest for your kid. He cares about their health and their success in life. If you watch baseball and know the game travel ball has nothing to do with school ball. The problem with travel ball in today’s generation is the parents. Ricky Heath develops players and knows the game. All parents think there kid is a super star and it hurts them when they don’t play and are not good enough. You can call me 336-420-6739 I’ve played for 19 years and will only tell you the truth people hide behind social media because they are not happy with their own success.

Happens way too often in travel ball… I use to pitch every weekend for him still have pitched to this day and played with him from 11u-17u. There’s many of people you can ask about his team that will all say good things sometimes parents are more upset than the kids. Might wanna try another sport cause won’t make it to far in baseball if your kid can’t take responsibility and do recovery and treat their body how they are suppose to, the game gets tougher every year and kids get left behind every year that’s the competition of todays game. Training and work ethic is key to make it not parents complaining cause their kid doesn’t work hard enough. my number is listed on another response feel free to give me a call.

The reply about overusing a kid is a complete lie. There's not a single kid on this team with the exception of one kid that may get to 90. I imagine this is a parent that is mad their kid is no longer on the team. I could easily post gamechanger stats to prove this. Even if a kid mentions his arm bothering him, he's done throwing. This is pure slander

Whomever is claiming their kid is over pitched is a liar. Ricky won’t let kids over pitch. My kid threw 50-60 last weekend on a Saturday and Ricky wouldn’t throw him on Sunday to protect him.
Also, if you’re so concerned about your kid, why are you letting him continue to play on the team. Doesn’t seem like you’re all that concerned…

Sounds like someone’s kid was not good enough for this team and just wants to throw the coaches name out there. My kid plays for Coach Heath and the kids well being is put before anything else. Don’t come on here trying to get stuff started when you can put your real name out here and you want to hide behind a tag name on here. Grow up!!!

What kind of parent would keep their kid on a team where he is constantly over pitched and in pain? Sounds like you’re doing a great job with this parenting thing.

To “concerned parent”, maybe you should re-evaluate the meaning of parenting. IF what you said was true (and I can guarantee you it is not), why is your son still on the team and why would you allow your son to be “over pitched”. These are 12 year old boys, it is ultimately your responsibility to protect your child. My son pitches/plays for Ricky (now)and he has pitched more than anyone on the team so far this year and he has not come any where close to being over used….and if he had, it would have been MY responsibility as his parent, to pull him off the mound and not allow a coach to over pitch him. I can guarantee you Ricky has the ultimate care for these boys, he’s teaching them correctly and safety and health is his number one priority. I run GameChanger for his team currently and if anyone would like to see the stats, they will see how obvious it is that what “concerned parent” said is the furthest from the truth. Seriously, if you want to see the stats, let me know. I will be more than happy to give you access to them.

My son actually plays and pitches for Ricky currently. He has had injuries in the past and has been cared for as if he was Ricky’s own child while on this team. He has grown so much as a player and a young man under Ricky’s coaching. Playing for Ricky Heath is a blessing. We know without a doubt that our sons health is his number one priority.
